The Presbyterian Church of Victoria’s Church and Nation Committee is hosting a Religion in the Public Square Colloquium on the theme “Living As If Truth Matters”, on 12-13 July 2024.

How Christians face the challenges posed by our contemporary culture is one of the most pressing issues confronting Christians and the church today. An excellent line up of Australian speakers will shed light on these crucial questions.

The keynote speaker, Rev. David Robertson, will bring biblical wisdom and encouragement from the book of Acts.

Dr Simon Kennedy will explore how the rich heritage of Reformed thinking about politics can help Christians today think through these issues.

I will be speaking on obedience and disobedience to civil government in an age of government overreach.

Other speakers – Dr Joanna Howe, Dr Terry Harding, Mrs Vanessa Cheng, Mr John Steenhof, Mr Bill Muehlenberg, Rachael Wong and Jasmine Yuen – will explore topics including religious freedom, education, civil government and abortion.
